My Bio
Born in England, raised in Japan. Spent my highschool and Uni years in New Zealand and now I live and work in London with my Kiwi hubby!

I <3 ; laces and paper doilies, dusky rose, vintage design, wings, cherry blossoms, wisteria, Alice in the Wonderland, sepia, music in minor keys, Vampire, long beautiful hair, plum wine, silk, smell of rain, sweet berries, poker dots, cream tea, fluffy cute animals, velvet ribbons, dark chocolate, glass quills, little perfume bottles …basically all the things beautiful and intricate!

I </3; anything with too many legs or no legs at all (i.e. caterpillars & snake !!!), tackiness & ugliness in general, aggressiveness in people, slow computer, sound of sport balls bouncing, yappy dogs, broken chopsticks, parsnip, participating in group sport activity, etc. etc. (list goes on…)

My drawings are all the things I listed in ‘I LIKE’ plus more. Dreamy fairy tale like world and colour is my favorites. My creative side of brain slow downed quite significantly after I graduated Uni and started to work in office (no inspirations!!) though joining D/A few years ago gave me the much needed inspiration and incentive to again start my doodling and painting. I hope you enjoy my world.

Btw my native tongue is Japanese so you are welcome to write me in Japanese as well!

OK, so I'm working on translating below short Japanese poetry/rhyme into English and possibly French. It's from a short horror story/comic, which I'm trying to illustrate. English translation is easy enough except when I do it, doesn't sound very poetic. I did avoid direct translation (which often makes sentence sound strange...) but it's still stiff I think.. I want to make it sound like old nursery rhyme but not sure what I'm doing wrong :( Can someone help me edit/polish up my translation so it sounds like an old little song/verse?? I'll be forever grateful!! 金色の目のエセプリ&#1245

Roman Holiday

0 min read
It's been a while since I updated my journal! (last one was for my B.D which was in May...!) I hope everyone is enjoying toasty summer weather (though it might be bit too toasty for some...depends on where you are =D ) This afternoon I'm off to Italy all by my own! So excited! I only booked the flight like just over a week ago. My sister in-law is staying in Rome for a month for job internship thing and I figured this is the time to visit Italy as I can stay with her. My hubby was unfortunately too busy to take day off from work so I decided to just go ahead and book the holiday for myself. I don't have much plan once I get there...I know I
