Navy Sailor

Hi! ^^
Finally finished the first round of school exams! _yay! : D  

Well, here is a new dawing from my sketchbook. :> I'm currently practicing to draw more realistic and to pay more attention to facial shapes (e.g his shape/jaw line is more square and angular). Despite his serious expression I wanted his eyes to feel more ..alive and expressive, therefore I added highlights and shadows and some details (for the iris) on them.
I added some freckles too, to give him a bit more character.
 
All in all I really enjoyed drawing this and I like how it turned out~  ^^
