subspace'd

Subspace from Super Mario Bros. 2 done in Paper Mario style, for yet another MFGG comp. Mario's blue outline is kind of a tribute to the NES game graphics because lot of the game sprites like the player characters had blue outlines. I used a blue sharpie for it and I swear to god I'm never doing that again because it smudged like crazy. Background and some touch ups added in Photoshop (THAT was a pain), and yes, I know Subspace doesn't have stars but I wanted to abuse the star brush again.
