Why I Like Rainbows by CherokeeCampFireGirl, journal
Why I Like Rainbows
1. I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain
And ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again.
Chorus
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.
2. I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away,
And I can be forgiven and improve myself each day.
Chorus
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.

Long-term subbing by CherokeeCampFireGirl, journal
Long-term subbing
I have been doing a long-term sub job for a Spanish teacher on maternity leave. I have about two more weeks to go. This job isn't as bad as the one I had last Spring. These kids behave somewhat better. I'm getting tired, though. I don't have the stamina I used to have.
Cheyenne, Wyoming by CherokeeCampFireGirl, journal
Cheyenne, Wyoming
We have been visiting Cheyenne, Wyoming again. It was colder than I was expecting (it's still hot in Iowa), but I brought along my Hagrid shawl http://cherokeecampfiregirl.deviantart.com/art/Hagrid-b-181180253 in case I needed it. I did. We had a light rain this morning when we went for a walk, so I held it over my head. And I wore it to church in case the air-conditioning made the rooms too cold. After church we explored the acreages north of the city.
