9x12 watercolor and metallic silver and gold paint
This was back in August 28, 2018 but I never got a chance to take a picture until now since I don't have a flip phone anymore
I was testing out two types of watercolor pencils that I had: the cheap $10-30 pack and the $2 per pencil to compare on a watercolor paper. The hair, eyes, lips and decorative feather were the nicer watercolor pencils (found in Hobby Lobby, in case anybody is interested) and the skin was from the 30 pack (I didn't have a brown pencil from the other group ;_
The cost-y pencils were a lot smoother even though I shaded on directly, but the 30 pack left behind the marks where I shaded it onto the paper, even though it was lightly applied. However, when I wet the paint brush and wet the tip of the pencil to then paint on the shades, it was a LOT nicer and gave a bolder color. So, I liked both equally and it could be that the cheaper pencils were not made for the textured watercolor paper, so maybe next time I'll try on bristol paper instead. The acrylic metallic paint was for fun after I already finished my test
besides glitter makes everything awesome!
Hope ya'll like it! I had fun painting this~ Sorry for no update this week; I have a big test on Monday and I want to do well on it~
Have an awesome weekend for all you awesome people (anybody who reads this
