Always nice to see a new photo of that pretty smiling face of yours. And your hair has gotten so much longer too.

DAMN girl. I likes that length, definitely gives me something to hold onto when.........ahem.........

let's just leave that alone where it should be...........

say you remember that song I dropped a few weeks ago when we were talking about your Brother stealing from your Mom? Something I still believe is very pathetic?

If you forgot here's the song again as a refresher:

well did you know this guy used to be a member of this site a while back?

I was listening to Benji B's show on BBC Radio 1 some weeks back and he was featured on there. In an interview he spoke about the design on his debut album was done by a Graphic Designer that he met on here where Arca was also a 3D Abstract artist. When I heard that my ears perked up. WHAT!?!??!???!? This dude used to be a member of this site along with the Graphic Designer whom he's still friends with? And what's even more surprising is how the Moderators on this site NEVER knew about this interview, it fell completely under the radar--no Interview, no Feature, NOTHING. I'm not even sure if they're still members of this site or not but hearing about his story gave me hope that if him and this guy can do it ANY ONE OF US CAN. That's the Inspirational Story of 2014! How can these boneheads miss that is beyond me but at the same time I'm not surprised, they run this place like a fuckin' Mental Asylum ala "12 Monkeys" or "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest".

Anyways here's his facebook page as well:

That's nice that they were able to make something with their talents, it's not always an easy thing to do. My "shining" moment or at least I felt it was at the time was when I was living in Joplin and the art teacher there put in a good word for me and my artwork and the local mall hired me to do their Christmas display that year. Was pretty cool, did The Night Before Christmas story painted on huge 6ft by 8ft panels all around the room and other people did designs and decor and that is where the mall's Santa was where the kids would come to see him etc. and got featured in the newspaper and on the news.

That's cool! That's something to hang your hat on.

As for me it was one of my Music Videos that was a commission job for Adam Rudolph. It was featured in some magazine to promote his album that came out a couple years ago. That was pretty cool. I would hope it would get me more attention like more commission jobs but it's definitely a beginning just like what you did. You still have that newspaper clipping or video recording of that news story?

What I don't get about this site is why they don't interview or at least showcase the artists on here that have done something with their craft, like commission work or a art exhibit. Like someone else on here told me it's like "every man for himself" for realz. Things like that can inspire other artists to strive to do better, begging people to fav your fuckin' work and comment isn't enough, that's some pathetic facebook Internet Nrrd shit. If that's what this site has devolved into it's no wonder people have been jumping ship by the raftloads.

Yeah still have photographs of all the work, along with the newspaper article, mom has them kept in an album for me somewhere I think in her storage. Don't think we ever got a copy of the news from the tv station though, but we watched it when it aired. Yeah the closest thing to "recognition" i've had on the site so far is a daily deviation which did help gain new followers etc, but didn't help the commissions any. Yeah and the way they have it set up for your profit by selling things on here is beyond jacked up, just for instance...when I was a premium member, one of my friends bought a $60 art block print of one of my works that was 2ft by 3ft, cost them $60 from deviant art to buy, but my artist profit was $6, if i'd not been a premium member it would have been even less than that, which is a total scam for the artist we're the ones putting the painstaking hours and hours, weeks, etc worth of work into creating the art, and all they gotta do is pretty much hit a print button on a machine and they rake all the profits.
