Shoran is despicable and hateful to his family and his twin brother.  When he was abandoned by his family, Christ Blendick who has traveling time came to Shoran and showed him the future of his miserable fate.  His future of betrayal and death has angered him.  Shoran accepted Christ's offer and join the forces of evil.  His mission is to travel to the future and replace every team of Sentai 7 with Another ranger.

As Swift Shade, purple ranger, he has access to the morphin grid and the power gears so he can summon the power rangers from past and future.
