I felt like doing something somewhat Mucha-inspired, incorporating Gallifreyan-esque designs. Plus I just wanted an excuse to spend a lot of time drawing Amy's gorgeous hair.

Thanks! I spent a lot of time posing in front of the mirror/taking pictures to make sure I could make the pose look believable.

I probably spent more time on that part of the sketch than anything else. Getting an accurate likeness is difficult and I had to play around with a few different attempts before I finally got it right.
