This is the Flagstaff Train Station. The old building was built in 1926 by Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe and the engine is one of the fleet of famous steam engines in use by the Grand Canyon Railway. This painting is a gift to one of my biggest supporters, Jennifer, who has been there for me through thick and thin, and especially during this last mad scramble of a year for me was always there to cheer me up. Thanks, mom. I’m ridiculously late for mother’s day. Here, it’s a Christmas card!
have a comic too
You always amaze me with your skill !
If it weren't for Thomas, I wouldn't quite understand the essence of trains in works of art ^^
Now I have to check up on some rail lines to see if they still exist.
Is it wrong for me to say that the train makes me think of the train from Back to the Future III, after Doc touched it up with the lights and time travel circuitry? lol
