MLA CH:25 The Reunion part 1.
From the enveloping darkness of the night came a light far brighter than anything shy of a full burst of sun.
Everything was illuminated. From the barren field CloudRail 6 was occupying, to the surrounding woodlands, making an artificial day. No matter how long ago it was, Delta could still remember every detail clearly.
First there was sight.
Or lack thereof. Even with eyes stretched to their absolute widest, delta couldn't even see his trembling hands in front of his worrying face.
Next came sound.
In his panic, delta turned his head and stretched his arm out to his nightstand in hopes of finding his phone. That's was when he noticed the sound. A loud bellowing that he was surprised he didn't notice earlier. The sound of air rushing into his ear.
All three other senses congealed into one experience after the revelation. Delta could feel the air blow through both nostrils and opened mouth, overpowering smell and taste.
But that was not the main sensation grabbing his attention. Instead that honor was reserved for the unmistakable shifting of his innards as the truth came to light. He wasn't in his bed. He wasn't in  his bedroom and he was far from safe as he continued to fall. Powerless to do anything, anything

“And coming up next is a bit of an unorthodox request, but since the empire is close to declaring victory we’ll allow it. So Mr. Brutus Camel, here is your song.”
From somewhere beyond their field of view, the four companions heard the announcement and listening to the song choice of this Brutus Camel.
“Huh, sounds like the kind of junk pen played back on the truck.” Charmless said. He turned around expecting a response, only to be greeted by the empty spot his group once stood on. Now hosting another lone stallion.
“I'm sorry were you expecting some pony else?”
“Uh, yeah. Did you see two mares and a dragon on that spot not too long ago?”
The stallion nodded.
“They each just trailed off in seperate directions. If you hurry you might find them.”
“Okay, thank you for the help. Bye!” Charmless spoke almost as quickly as his hooves trotted through the farmers market, hoping to make true on the strang

Mla chapter 21 the morning after
A small, simple, mattressed bed. On its own, this piece of furniture is bland, forgettable and overall unimpressive. But after a week filled with prison escape, tavern fires, being shot down by the equine equivalent of storm troopers, giant golems, bounty hunter lined caves, and a very painful homage, a simple bed is just what you need after all that. And the alternate 6 were all too happy to take that offer.
The inside of the passenger cart was the definition of serene. Silent, save for the occasional snorts and snores on both the stallion and mare sides. Each car window had its own pair of curtains drawn fully, keeping the car in an even blend of darkness for sleep, and brightness for when they wake. Though a stray beam of sunlight did occasionally slip through the space between the curtains. Aided more by the gentle breeze blowing inward. Carrying with it the smell of various flowers and other flora in the meadow that lied outside of the metal walls. Serenity  incarnate.

After the end: Chapter 8
After that recounting of the wizard wars Juan and Vincent decided to hit the red light district for a drink. Well Vincent decided he wanted a jack and coke so he dragged Juan with him to a really ritzy bar. As Juan sipped his glass of Water Vincent was already draining his second glass and laughing merrily with a group of dwarven wizards.
"So then I fell on my balls and I just screamed." he chuckles along with the dwarves.
"Ah I'll agree a fall to the jewels would be terrible, but not as bad as when my brother Onyx dropped a shovel on me foot." a dwarf says
"Been there done that." Vincent replies before taking a drink he laughs along with the dwarves before Juan sighs "Hey I'm going to take a leak." he says but Vincent doesn't hear him. Juan groans before heading to the head as another drink was given towards Vincent. He takes notice of the drink "Hey bartender, what's with the third drink?" he asks "thought there was a two drink minimum?"

From the enveloping darkness of the night came a light far brighter than anything shy of a full burst of sun.

Everything was illuminated. From the barren field CloudRail 6 was occupying, to the surrounding woodlands, making an artificial day. Shielding and squinting their sight as best they could, the group could see something just beyond the blinding beam. As their eyes slightly adapted to the ever so bright light, it became clear that it was the unmistakable silhouette of a mighty zeppelin. A zeppelin staring straight into their very souls.

“How in the fudge do little horses even craft half this crap?" Penwrite asked rhetorically as the head of the mighty airship bowed to their direction, bringing its eyes of light down upon the dwarfed locomotive and its passengers.

“Amazing what you can get done with friends that don’t need to sleep, eat or find a bathroom!!” A voice cried out from somewhere beyond the leviathan’s lights.

“Oh no,” charmless muttered beneath his breath and the mighty roar of the zeppelin. “Not him, again.”

“Holy, shitzu.” Was all PenWrite could muster given he was the farthest from thelostnarrator’s microphone.

“Hurry back inside!” Scribbler suddenly ordered at the others, already outstretched front legs gaining length from her ink manipulation. “If we hurry, we can get the train off the ground and into the air before they-“

Obabscribbler’s train of thought was brought to a screeching halt as a literal screech emitted from her very literal train. There, barely a few inches from her new shadow was a foot long bolt, at least judging by what was still protruding from the train hull.

From up above the six could hear another sound filling the dead air between them: the choir of multiple strings tensing up at once, ready to play the song of descending darts, arrow, bolts, and spears upon them. They were pinned to their spot.

The spotlight continued its fixated beam on the six. So much so, that they almost didn’t notice the shape that fell from the airship and crashed with a loud boom.

When the spotlight finally dimmed from its blinding intensity to a second sunset, each brony could see their new challenger.

Whoever or whatever it was, It was tall. A large, towering figure with legs as thick as the trunk of an oak tree carrying a frame emblazoned with with a Trifecta of Black, Grey, and Bronze. Each one of them took one look at the face before remembering the last pony who donned it, and current one using it.

“Oh come the fuck on!” Kp shouted to the skies as the cover of night began to reclaim the sky. “Are you gonna keep shoving your old OCs in our faces this whole story?!”

“To be fair. I’m not the first or last brony to do that.” Charmless attempted to defend himself from the patronizing Pegasus, not the 8 hoof tall giant that is also Tartarus-bent on ending the lot of them.

“Oh, you’re going to be the first and last alright.” Delta gritted through the non visible pebbles beneath his mask. “I’ll make sure of that…”

From high above , the mighty zeppelin’s archers kept focus on the six. There was no escaping this time. No last minute train rescues. No equipment failures. Everyone of them were in sight. And delta was far from alone. The time has come for confrontation and there would be no interruptions on the Emperor’s hooves.

“Hello there, My Little Idiots.” Delta’s “mouth” beamed with both faux sincerity and a golden glow.

“So good to see the lot of you alive and well. You know, before I kill you all.”

“You know delta, we were wrong about you.” KP spoke up from behind the group.

“Oh?”

“Yeah, last time, we all thought you couldn’t get any uglier. But now, we were hella wrong about that…”

The crew expected the emperor to take offense and signal to his archers to resume the song of surefire death, which is why they were taken aback when they all heard what was coming out of his mouth. Laughter.

“Well, somepony got herself an attitude since the last time we met.”

“We got a lot more than attitude since then.” PenWrite cried out. “And you know what that means?”

“It means get lost, you bootleg iron man!!” Added a referencing pony.

Despite the insults, delta still chuckled. “Alright then, let’s see just what else ‘besides attitude’ you trotting docks got in store. But before we start. How’s about we make it more interesting?”

Before anypony could ask how, delta motioned from up above. Not two seconds later, two more thuds came from the bridge of the Dirigible. A staff and a very familiar looking mirror.

“Is this going to take long? Some of us have ogres to slay and caves to explore!”

Each member of the six raised their head at the source of the sound. The bluest among them slightly faster. They all recognized that voice. The same voice that tore the mane 6 apart all those years ago. And he was now with a group of his own. Discord. Discord and the rest of Delta’s royal house loomed above them.

“Don’t worry about them.” The Emperor coldly remarked. Not even making eye contact with any of them. “They’re just here to watch.”

Almost immediately each one of the six wanted to ask him what they would watch, but they all knew they wouldn’t like the answer.

“A little wager I’m prospering.”

With an unseen source, Delta’s scepter rose from the earth and toward its owner. In one swift motion Delta brought down the tip of his scepter into the soft dirt and dragged the exquisite artifact across the damp soil until a straight line was bored. complete with miniature mountain ranges  of excess soil on each side.

“You see, you six have cost me quite a bit this past week…” Delta spoke out, sarcasm obviously at play.

“My castle. Stealing Deltic Empire property. Destroying more of said property. my best bounty hunter.”

The emperor paused for a moment.

“ And you six did one other thing to me. What was it? Something I can’t put my hooves on.” Delta said as he rubbed the tip of his staff against one of his front faux hooves, creating a harsh screech. “Any of you remember?”

“Do you have a point or did that rock brain of yours forgot it?” Hunter called out at the ruler. Momentarily forgetting what was above his head. “Aren't you forgetting about something?!!” TheLostNarrator said in response. Taking the green pony’s advice, delta continued and turned to face the familiar mirror.

“This is the same mirror that brought Princess Twilight to that other world. After I beat her, I took as a prize and had it worked on so I could go to our world. And you could also use it…” Delta halted his point to raise the bottom of the staff high over his head. The alternative six readied themselves for the Imminent attack that Delta was sure to pull. With a quick of Delta’s staff, everything changed.

It was normal. The all encompassing zeppelin and light was now just a simple roof and affixed ceiling lights. The grass with patches of soft dirt in between was replaced by a singular carpet stretching all around the ground. And where six colored magical equines once stood was a mismatch group of men and women. Each in a varying stage of cosplay.

“To go back home. I’ll let everyone go. All you have to do is get past my line.” Delta concluded the offer as he brought the staff down a second time. Bringing the six back into equestria for the second time.

“Interested?”

Powerless to do anything, anything but scream.

“Delta? Delta!”

In a sudden gasp, delta was pulled from his reminiscing and brought back to his current condition. He was still in his castle. Seeing both it and Doctor Frankenstallion through false eyes. Using his equally faux ears, delta could make out the sounds of his own legs walking across the smooth stone floor in rhythm, along with Frankenstallion’s voice.

“After all those demands on whether or not it's finish, you don't pay attention for when it is.” The doctor dryly told the emperor. Had anybody else said that to delta, there wouldn't be anything left to resemble a body, but this was Frankenstallion. In the time Frankenstallion has been with delta in This “war”, he came to know Stallion and his mannerisms. Whenever he made comments of any kind, delta, as well as the other members of the royal house, knew it was never out of malice or any sort. Just a simple observation. No more. No less. It was this demeanor and eye for observation that got Frankenstallion to where he is. And through even the toughest of projects.

“So it's finally ready?” Delta asked the good doctor.

“Just about.” Frankenstallion replied as he meticulously shifted a part from what looked like a boot into place. “Lately it's been a very busy time for me, my liege. First the flying transport I was working on up and leaves me without so much as a note on the tracks, then I get the call saying you were no more, only to be called by you. In This… predicament of yours.”

After the prerequisite pause, Frankenstallion continued.

“So until I am able to return you proper, the best I can do is offer a better vessel to contain yourself in.”

And with that, Doctor Frankenstallion stepped out of the way to allow delta a look at the new him.

What stood before the shambling body of the Emperor was in every way an improvement: Four, strong, sturdy Hooves made from only the best materials the empire had to offer . None being cobbled from some lowly cave. Each leg alone towered over delta’s whole body as they bore the immense weight the torso had to be exerting. The chest was broad, decorated with the colors of black, bronze and hints of gray, all tied together  with a short cape that showcased its user’s status.

The entire carapace hummed a certain melody of sorts. No doubt it was some kind of inner mechanism by Frankenstallion to make driving this behemoth easier on delta.

From the shoulders, delta could make out the fierce mask adorning the smooth helmet on top. A face that despite seeming new, looked as though it has been through some damage.

“Doesn't matter.” Delta thought. “As long as it works, I am happy with it.”

He took one last look at the body as a whole. Each and every feature he listed previously complimented one another beautifully. It was a worthy vessel for the Ruler of the Deltic Empire.

“Stallion.” Delta suddenly shouted to the scientist as he rested his sole frontal limb on the chest of the body. Not noticing its song had ceased. “How do I start this thing up?”

“You already started.” The scientist calmly stated from his new position. From somewhere beyond the doorframe of his workshop.

Then why are you hiding?!” Delta began to trot after the suspicious scientist, only to realize his three limbs remained where they were. Looking down, delta could see that it was worse than that. The Dulled, golden, glow that been keeping the emperor together was now receding. What were once his hooves had crumbled into dust on the cold hard floor. The suit’s melody of hums and mechanisms suddenly boomed back to life at ever deafening volume as the glow receded further and further. Delta could feel every stone, every pebble, every fragment and every particle of his being slip away.

As the last remnants of his torso shifted for the final time, a through raced through Delta’s ‘head’:

“Why is he hiding from this?”

“He wouldn't be hiding if this was just a transfer..”

Delta looked around himself. Papers, the pencils that were used to write on them and lab equipment of varying sizes, all began to swirl and dance to the mad machine’s tune. This hadn't happened before. No. Delta knew what this was

“Frankenstallion you back stabbing-” delta tried to finish his spiteful sentence, but couldn't as the bottom edges of Xiphos’ helmet turned impromptu head curved forward to the momentum of the golden aura. Overwhelming what little taste and smell delta could sense to begin with, along with the ability to form clear words.

Whichever word delta chose to finish that sentence instead became a intelligible mutter lost to the now deafening hum of the Goliath. Deafening in the sense that delta had now lost both ears to it. With vision beginning to fade, delta couldn't believe it was going to end. After all his suffering. All his planning. All the effort to bring them here. And His plan revenge was cut short by the hooves of the one he trusted most. And with the last remnants of his vision fading to black, delta was powerless to do anything now. Anything but scream.

Twilight was arriving. She was coming soon, but not soon enough. No, not that twilight, although that one was more than welcome to come by cloudrail 6. No, the twilight coming was none other than the intermission of the princesses’ reigns. Day and night were beginning their dance with one another, a sign that the day was reaching its end. Much to the joy of the current passengers of cloudrail, who wanted little but to see this day end.

“So after he spaces out for no fuckin reason, he has the nerve to get mad at me for not looking out for a dragon that was OUR responsibility. He doesn't even yell at KP for anything. He just goes after me for no bloody reason! And you know what happened next? His dumbass almost gets the lot of us killed in that marketplace!”

“Trust me, his shithead friend wasn't any better to be with!” TheLostNarrator began, continuing the dark tension her friend Obabscribbler started, almost as dark as the outside of the sleeping car had become.

“ so I tried talking to her and she wouldn't answer me. I walk up to her and you know what she did? She almost crushes my trucking face in with that mic!” PenWrite shouted the tale with both raised voice and a raised hoof that accidentally slammed into a cupboard door. “And you don't wanna know what happened with the wires.”

Charmless did his best to listen to his friend’s venting while also stocking the fridge and aforementioned cupboards with whatever he and the mares were able to snatch. A bundle of grapes, an onion, two cans of crushed tomatoes, a jug of milk and a styrofoam cup of coffee that by some act of Faust was still full. And the last thing he wanted to see right now.

“I swear I still can't feel my wings.” Kp asked her fellow pegasus, Hunter, as he placed the last covering on the control board, and on his patience.

“And why are you telling me this again?”

“Well sorry if I'm just trying to start a conversation, jeez!” Kp suddenly cried out at the out of necessity mechanic. With a final huff and sly raspberry when hunter wasn't looking, kp opened the door and slammed it as she exited. Leaving him alone in engine car illuminated by the light shining from the front windows.

       “Wait a minute…”

Before Hunter could finish his revelation, the door was slammed again, this time opened as the other tenants of cloudrail stormed the conductor’s cart and through the door outside. Twilight was here and she wasn’t alone.
