Character Tracey Whitaker (OC Female Boxer)Location Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
Description
Tracey and Chloe finished practicing their fighting grips, then decided to take a brief moment to cool off. Taking in a quick breath, then puffing out her cheeks, Tracey said, "Nice gripping, elf. I must say, you've countered a number of my attempts to gain advantage pretty handily."
"That's what earning a brown belt gives you," Chloe said, lightly wiping her forehead with the back of her sleeve. "It's all about practice and getting better at all the basics."
Tracey nodded. "Yeah, true enough." She gestured for Chloe to come back to her. "C'mon, gal pal, time to get more physical."
"Sure thing. It's randori time." Both friends made a customary bow, then as Tracey readied herself, getting into a fighting stance. Chloe lightly bounced on the balls of her feet, falling into her favorite fighting posture and her hands held out in front of her.
Tracey was the first to launch an attack, much to Chloe's delight, trying to grip Chloe's right sleeve; Chloe easily side-stepped the outreaching hand, then moved in closer, snatching up Tracey's left sleeve. "C'mon, Posh, try to break my grip." She said, graciously allowing Tracey time to adjust her stance and try to escape. Wanting to meet the challenge, Tracey managed to break the grip, then
"You're not easing up on this ol' gal, are ya?" The Posh Princess asked, raising an eyebrow, feeling just a bit suspicious about how she got away without much difficulty.
Chloe feigned innocence, putting a hand on her chest in an act of modesty. "What, who me?? Never, Poshy; that is, if you really want me to, just say the word and I'll take it easy on you." Chloe tried to keep herself from grinning but the more Tracey looked incredulously at her friend, the more the smile broadened.
"Uh-uh, we'll have none of that, missy," Tracey said, getting in close to Chloe and snatching her left sleeve once again. "I'm coming for you, sweetie." This time when Chloe tried to yank her arm away, Tracey held on, tightening her grip. She took up Chloe's right lapel, while Chloe grasped Tracey by the lapel and sleeve, at the same time using her feet to sweep at her friend's feet and legs, attempting to break her balance so she could more vulnerable for a throw.
