Description

Here you can see my first model ever made in Blender. I've spent about 100-120 hours to make this thing done, excluding rendering time of the pictures (about 10 hours) and the overall time spent watching tutorials of the program (a rather hard one to calculate now).

I chose this particular station wagon from the game Fallout 4 (and presumably Fallout 76 too) as my first model to make. Must've been a bit of an overkill but I was quite self-assured I could make it. There's a similar car in the actual game but its 'taxi' version from the ref sheet has never been made, I believe. Which is strange, since you only have to recolor a few textures and that's it, you basically get another car. The official Bethesda ref sheet of this car (used during the modelling) can be found here - sta.sh/0198ot9cebsu or here - fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Statio…. As far as you can see, I gave myself some liberties when making it but I think these minor frivolous alterations made the car look even better than what its initial concept art was like.

Was quite a challenge to make this yellow beauty, I'm not gonna lie. But I'm pretty satisfied with the final output! Leave your critiques down in the comments what you think of it! I'm interested in your feedback about what you think of my first Blender model.

There are also renders of the same station wagon taxi from different perspectives and with some different HDRIs. Check it out too below!
Main render - Taxi on stage (angle) - can be easily found in my gallery.

Rather good modeling of all these smooth surfaces, the only suggestion is adding the shadow catcher plane (not sure, how it named in Blender) for seamless integration with environment HDRI.
