My Guardians of the Galaxy Drawing
I’ve been so excited to share this drawing with everyone, I’ve put a lot of hours into this piece and I also took a different approach to sharing my process when drawing this as well. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook (Both under CharlotteBrookeArt) then you will know that I always love to share my drawings with everyone as I’m drawing them. I like to share my thoughts, what I plan on doing, how I’m finding the piece as I’m drawing it and so on.. I love getting you all involved in my art process as much as possible and getting you all excited for the finished piece. However with this one, for the first time ever I didn’t share what the overall drawing was looking like, instead I teased each individual character drawing and I’ve saved it until now to finally reveal a drawing that I’ve been planning in my head for quite some time now. I love coming up with compositions that are different from the original movie posters I draw from. I used individual character posters for this drawing and concentrated on drawing one of my favourite things ever to draw and that’s eyes. I always knew this piece was going to be a challenge, as I could have quite easily got this wrong and you wouldn’t know who they are, but I’m super pleased with the outcome and I can’t wait to eventually start playing around with this drawing and putting it onto other products in the future! Keep an eye out on my shop because big changes are coming…!
