Homage to my absolute favorite band, ever - the incredible Matt Bellamy, front man of MUSE. 
I came across this wonderful photograph a while back: [link] taken by James Porteous and had the uncontrolable urge to paint it! So after a little emailing, James was kind enough to let me take a stab at painting his wonderful shot. Thank you James! : )
Muse are by far my favorite band, their music means a lot to me and always inspires.
So I had to do some Muse art eventually. Plus my gallery seriously needs more guys - so Matt was my victim!
This was so much fun. The guitar was an absolute bitch to paint and I won't be painting another any time soon D: There's too many fabulous songs to name this after but I decided to go with one of my favorite songs - Starlight.

"Time Is Running Out" was their first song that I have heard and I fell in 
about this band.
I was fourteen and was looking for something different from the usual songs...
I was listening also: Coldplay, U2 and Oasis
ps: I really love the guitar's sound in their songs , often is so "theatrical"

Yes, Muse are the kings of awesome. They're my go-to band when I'm writing - with the exception of Tool, I can't find any other band whose music is SO CONDUCIVE to the creative process ... 
Ill tell you , its always a pleasant surprise when I look at someones gallery because their stuff is awesome and come across Matt Bellamy. Just goes to show muse fans are talented and have amazing taste
