Long Overdue
It's been a while since I've done a journal update. It's been a while since I drew something. Actually, that's not entirely true. I was constantly doodling, especially during conference calls that don't require my undivided attention. Last year things changed. With the pandemic and the need to do drive by birthdays for my son's friends and family, I started drawing again. Bought some alcohol markers and made birthday posters for the drive by birthdays. Not great (maybe I'll post them). I miss being on here and hearing from friends. I'm drawing more but definitely out of practice. I'm trying to find the time, mostly coloring older drawings. I travel for work during the week, so time on the weekends is limited. Minnesota to Arkansas is my office :). So that's about it. Also, what is the best/easiest/cheapest app or program for coloring now?

Wow! Time really slips by when your not paying attention.
I'm still alive. Unfortunately I haven't drawn any thing in a looong time.
I kinda put things I enjoyed in life away for a while to concentrate on some other areas of my life.
Well, that was all fine in dandy, but all work and no play has made me very very 'grumpy'.
Tonite I decided to try and get back into the things that makes me happy. Drawing and hooking back up with the friends I have here.
Sorry I've been gone so long and fell out of touch.
I'm not sure when I'm going to start drawing again. I don't have photoshop at the moment either.

The other day I was driving home, fighting my way through another nearly two hour trek home. This particular week I'd been jumping between all shifts to finish a work project and it left me more than a little exhausted. Then a song came on the radio, one of those songs that has just the right combo of tempo, guitar riffs, lyrics, etc. For whatever reason it just clicks. I immediately perked up, nearly to the point were I just wanted to drive along the center median, right foot pushing the accelerator thru the floor board to coax every little ounce of horsepower out of the engine to pull ahead of the rest of the 'sheep' in the flock.
