:bulletred: THIS BRUSH PACK FILE SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BE COMBINED WITH OTHER BRUSH PACKS FOR REDISTRIBUTION ONLINE ( sorry for the big warning, apparently people like going around and stealing brushes from artists who made them and making their own packs out of other peoples work. If you see this happening please report immediately. Original artists should get credit for their work. ) This brush pack is intended for Educational purposes only.

Personal Comments
Had a few requests to make a rock brush pack over the winter break. After some searching for other rock brush packs ( wanted to make sure they were unique ) I couldn't find many. So I made sure it was my next brush pack to release. ^_^

Each rock was painfully hand painted, no photo refs... I just have a lot of practice with painting rocks. These would be best for illustrations that don't want photo-realistic results but more of a painted look. Because sometimes rocks just get tiring to do. I would recommend mixing these in with some of your own for added variety.

As with all of my brushes and resources these are free to use for what ever you want. All I ask is that you link back here if you do use them. For 2 reasons I ask this... so that others can find and download them and so I can see how you used them. I find it so interesting what people come up with. ^_^ Also please fav if you use, that way more people can find them. I'm all about sharing the love.

:+favlove: Creations from other artists who used these brushes. ( please link me to your deviation if you used these)

Hey um, I tried to fill the background on this rock I wonder what that means. Can Anybody explain to me how to fill the background for rock Paint.

Depending on what program your using. I'm assuming Photoshop you can do this 2 ways. Create a layer underneath the rock brush layer and paint underneath the color you wish. Or paint the rock later with with the brush mode set to overlay.  Experiment with different brush and layer modes to create the effect you want. These brushes are basically just values of a rock to save time.

Got it. I Did the Fill The Background, hope you don't mind me asking, but, how do I put highlights and Shadows to this?

You can do this a number of ways, the one with the most control, create a new layer on top of the rock layer and pant over the rock where you like your highlights to go.

I like to paint right on the rock with my brush mode set to overlay, or dodge.
