A Note on Spirit Day
Spirit Day started as a day to raise awareness of LGBTQ youth who have been bullied because of their orientation, but has been extended to raise awareness of bullying in all forms, cyber or in real life. If you have been the victim of any form of bullying, know that there is support and you can receive help. You definitely aren't alone.
I know. I've been the target of bullying, both online and off. In my experience, the best thing to do is to just let someone know what's happening. Support is important, and this day is a great opportunity to show it. Prevent bullying, prevent the misery and awfulness is brings.
And if you haven't guessed by now, purple is the color of Spirit Day. So without further ado...
