The folk was gone. But this one was special. The folk seemed hungry, but didn't seem to have a blight from what she could tell. Those eyes were pink and full. It also seemed to fully understand her, even when she spoke in her distorted, fractured voice. It was distorted, too. Bright rings glowing and leaving behind sparks. Funny, isn't it? She decided not to go any further. Best not to arouse suspicion, after all.
