“Shit! Shit! Shit!” I whipped open the office door before rushing inside, having made a mad dash from my car to the entrance across the parking lot. Rain was coming down in sheets. It had been for days, and even my raincoat wasn’t enough to prevent me from getting wet this time. I didn’t know what was worse. The weather, or how awful work had been recently.
I recalled the events of the past week, wondering why I just hadn’t called out today. I’d dealt with a few too many irate customers for reasons out of my control, those who were responsible had since been terminated which resulted in a higher workload for those of us who weren’t, and two of our more senior staff being on vacation wasn’t helping much. Grumbling, I made my way through the front door, only to be intercepted by Lydia as soon as I opened it.
“Heyyyyyy girl~” Was she hungover again? That girl took thirsty thursday way too seriously. “Us ladies chipped in to get you something, considering how hard you’ve been carrying us this week.” She extended her hand, holding a gift card and a small vial. “Something to help you destress…”
My phone had already begun to ring at my desk. “Uh! Thanks Lydia!” Fumbling with what she’d handed me, I skipped over to my desk, dropping my stuff before grabbing the phone. “C.O.T. Ltd. Customer Service, how may I help you?” An angry voice on the other end had me slumping into my seat, only half paying attention as I was more curious about the bottle than about the shipping issue this irate lady had come across. Making a mental note to strangle the floor manager, I looked over the glass vial. It didn’t have a label of any kind. Maybe one of Lydia’s special concoctions for when she didn’t want to be sober anymore?
Lydia was certainly a character. We’d had our flings in the past, but workplace professionalism prevented it from ever going beyond that. She was a complete freak in the sheets, though, endorsing any fantasy either of us could conceive. Maybe I’d repay the favor this weekend…
I sniffed the vial after uncorking it. It didn’t smell of alcohol, just sweet like some sort of juice. Not seeing Lydia’s waving her hands at me and making motions across her throat, I downed it when the voice of the other end had been redirected to our shipping phone line. It felt cool down my throat, but somehow managed to warm me up, too. I smiled as I sat back in my seat, enjoying the feeling.
“You did not just do that.” I almost jumped as Lydia seemed to materialize behind me, hands on my chair. “You didn’t even let me tell you what it was, dummy~”
Turning to face her, I cocked an eyebrow. “Did you just give me booze at work? You know HR would-”
“That was a shrinking potion, Aileen.”
My face flushed, the words I was about to speak freezing in my throat before I gulped. “...a what?”
“You heard me~ All those fantasies you shared about just dwindling down and not having to worry about anything for a day or two? I called in some favors…” She smirked, a look that only ever reminded me of what a lion’s gaze might look like before it pounced out of a tree onto its dinner. “I think your Friday just got a bit trickier~”
“Y-You...you just...really!?” I looked around after the outburst, remembering where I was. I lowered my voice to not attract any more attention. “And you didn’t tell me?”
“I tried.” She shrugged. “But someone was in a hurry. Anyway, have fun with it. You know where to find me~” Without waiting for a response, she turned to go back to her desk in another corner of the spacious office.
Scowling at her, my stomach suddenly growled. Putting my hand to it, a wave of dizziness swept over me as the room slowly began to spin, only to stop seconds later. Shaking my head, I turned back to my desk...only to feel one of my heels slip off my nylon-clad foot. “Goddammit, Lydia…” Sure enough, my outfit had become ever so slightly bigger. My nylons sagged a touch, the shoulders of my suit not as form-fitting as they once had been. Before I could think too much on it, the phone rang again. The butterflies really started when I had to reach further to grab it. “C.O.T. Ltd. C-Customer Service…” I readjusted myself as I felt my skirt ever so slightly inch down my hips. “H-How can I help you?”
A couple hours into the work day and I stopped being able to reach the floor. I sat on a few accordion folders I’d pulled from a file cabinet to be able to still grab my phone and use my keyboard. I wagered I was maybe four and a half feet tall at this point, I’d had to roll up my sleeves and nylons so as not to get caught up in them. My heels lay on the floor below me, abandoned after I’d become annoyed with their refusal to stay on. Leaning forward over the keyboard, I flicked open my email after a desktop notification popped up while I scrolled on my news feed.
"Aileen, please copy and fax this to HR and shipping."
I groaned, as I looked over my shoulder to the copy machine in the center of the office. I was hoping to not have to use it today to avoid being seen, but alas. Sending the document to the print queue, I slid out of my chair before hurrying over to the machine. Booting up the ancient device, I found my document in the list of print jobs before going to press the Print button. Right as my fingers grazed it, my stomach growled again. I staggered backwards as I felt another dizzy spell start, only to watch with disbelief as the printer’s control panel rose above my line of sight. “Fucking really?” Reaching up, I suddenly felt a breeze as my skirt dropped to my ankles. I quickly pulled it up as my face burned, looking to make sure nobody saw. Almost no one did.
“Aww, wardrobe malfunction?” Lydia snickered as she walked by with what was probably her third cup of coffee in as many hours. “Need some help with the big, bad printer?”
“Oh please...I am perfectly capable of…” I reached up to the panel and missed. Standing on my tiptoes, I could touch the screen but not see it. Settling back on me feet, I huffed at my co-worker. “...y-yeah, fine...Job 3 needs a hard copy and to be faxed to shipping and HR…”
Lydia playfully bumped me out of the way before typing instructions into the machine, causing me to blush as her chest brushed against my face. I staggered back, before tripping over nylons that were no longer tied back, She looked down at me with a grin as I grunted at hitting the ground.
Kneeling, she held out the papers I needed copied. “Done~”
I hurried back up to my feet, holding my outfit tighter around me as I took the papers. “T-Thanks…” Feeling that sensation again, I made my way back to my desk as quickly as I could, managing to sit in my chair before it happened again. This time it forced a soft noise from my lungs, a warmth coursing through me as I felt my suit continue to slide as I lost what I guessed to be a foot of height. With a grumble I realized I know how to be on my knees to reach my keyboard, and as if just to rub in this realization, the phone rang again. Grabbing it with both hands, I had to lean against the desk to hold onto it. “C.O.T. Ltd...” I tried to ignore that I couldn’t see my hands past my sleeves. “...c-customer service...how may I help y-you…”
Glancing at the clock on my computer, I was relieved to see that I only had to put up with this for another hour. I stood barely a foot tall, wrapped in my suit top as I stood on my desk. A lever system I’d managed to rig up to answer the phone was working well. One of my paperweights sat atop the switch hook, with an emory file beneath. Whenever it rang, I simply depressed the file to answer the phone that lay next to me. Typing was quite a bit harder, but fortunately I was rarely under a time crunch for emails, especially since Lydia had been taking care of any of my tasks involving the printer. At this point I just hoped I wouldn’t have to use the restroom.
The phone suddenly rang again, startling me. It was much louder to me at this size. I sat on the file before speaking into the phone. “C.O.T. Ltd., how may I help you?”
“I don’t really think you can help me at that size, sweetheart~”
Lydia’s voice surprised me. “Why are you calling me?”
“Just wanted to see if you could still answer, of course. Gotta make sure your little mishap this morning wasn’t inhibiting your capability to do stuff, should’ve known you were a resourceful, little thing~”
I scowled at the nickname. “Yeah, real fun...ny…” Another dizzy spell. I leaned into the receiver as I could feel the I wasn’t quite heavy enough to keep the file depressed. “Hey! Could you actually take my calls? I think I’m getting too small to-”
Click. The paperweight fell onto the switch as I felt myself lifted by the file, my suit flowing out around me as I diminished again. My feet could now fit on the file’s end as I stood up, the cold office air making me shiver as I wrapped my arms around myself. Before I could think of how to rectify the situation, a large shadow suddenly passed over me. “L-Lydia!?”
She was beyond massive, looking nearly fifty feet tall as she smiled down at me. I blushed as I tried to cover myself, even though she’d seen me plenty of times with this little on. With a grin, her hand descended upon me. I instinctively turned to flee, but she pinched me between her fingers before I could even jump from the file. She brought me to her face at a speed that made my eyes water. “The phone lines aren’t even open for another hour and it’s a Friday, I think they’ll be fine without us~”
“B-But we can’t just leave!” I squeaked up at her, frustrated to find my voice was high enough to lack any shade of conviction. “What if the DM ca-”
Her finger pressing over my mouth silenced me, only making me blushing at realizing just how much power she had over me. “Oh don’t you worry, we’ll have enough fun to make up for it tonight.” She looked down to her bag, opening it before looking back to me. “And besides…” Not letting me respond, she dropped me inside. I cried out before landing on her wallet, looking up to see her zip her bag closed above me. “...I think it’s my turn to be the top~”

Quarantine Shrink - Day Three
Sigh…..I guess there’s no denying it now. I’m smaller. O.o
It dawned on the moment I swung my legs over the bed this morning and the tips of my toes just barely brushed the carpet. My clothes are baggy and sit crooked on my frame now. Looking at myself in the mirror, I wrinkled my nose at the unkempt woman wrinkling her nose right back at me.
I called Kate and she came in the afternoon. She audibly gasped when I first stepped into the room. She was now almost a full head taller, and for the first time in my life I had to raise my head to look at her.
I agreed that we should measure my height and she led me to the corner. I stood barefoot against the wall, trying to stretch myself as high as possible as she set the tape measure next to me.
4' 10". O.o
I must have seemed pretty glum because Kate recommended we do something fun. So we ordered a pizza and had a movie night.
It was really nice. Kate even promised she would go shopping for some new clothes and bring them by

Late for Work
Kelly had just finished her lunch, she hustled into the office. She had her soda in her hand, lowering her head a little as she rushed past her coworkers, hoping not to draw attention. Unfortunately her boss did notice her tardy return.
Jim approached slowly, as Kelly rummaged through her desk, to look like she was getting back to work. He sat beside her at the desk, and smiled, "Get lost on your way back Kelly?"
Kelly hadn't noticed Jim's approach so his sudden comment surprised her, she turned quickly stumbling on her words, "N-no, I was just he-ld up in traffic." She blushed and held her head down, embarrassed from the sudden nervous hic
Yet another 4chan request. Starting to enjoy these, good excuse to practice writing without having to actually think of ideas on my own.
