Literature Text
Voices whisper in your ear;
Sweetest nothings, greatest fears.
All your life your friend is there,
Waiting with a tale to share.
Threats are blown into the air,
Ever present, meant to scare.
Someone tails your every move;
A hidden fiend, free to rove.
Disembodied voices say:
Never dare to disobey.
Your friend arrives with a grin,
A plan in mind, a great sin.
Trembling grips your paling hand.
Someone whispers their command.
Terrified, you call to me,
Hoping I can set you free.
But as you point out your friend,
Wishing that this all would end,
My answer renews your fear:
I see no one standing there.
Sweetest nothings, greatest fears.
All your life your friend is there,
Waiting with a tale to share.
Threats are blown into the air,
Ever present, meant to scare.
Someone tails your every move;
A hidden fiend, free to rove.
Disembodied voices say:
Never dare to disobey.
Your friend arrives with a grin,
A plan in mind, a great sin.
Trembling grips your paling hand.
Someone whispers their command.
Terrified, you call to me,
Hoping I can set you free.
But as you point out your friend,
Wishing that this all would end,
My answer renews your fear:
I see no one standing there.
Literature
Insane
Twisted the Mind.
Distorted thoughts in me.
Changed I am now.
Multiply the personalities.
Crazy is the word.
Sane I am not.
Lost is my mind.
Scare you I will.
More of me?
Maybe just less of you.
Tormented in my own head.
You cannot realize,
My instability,
My Insanity.
Literature
Suicide
You called me up,
crying,
down the phone,
you said you'd taken some pills,
and didn't want, to die alone.
Is your life,
that messed up,
you had to take steps,
to make it stop?
I cried to you,
to call 999,
you said you couldn't listen,
to voices other than mine.
your voice sounded weak,
fighting for breath,
the silence was noticeable
as if i was deaf.
The streets of heaven,
are already full tonight,
full of souls,
souls of angels,
souls like yours,
souls of people,
whose life ended too soon.
Your death,
has brought nothing but pain,
upon this world.
Literature
schizophrenia
My friends are special,
just for me,
I'm schizophrenic
don't you see?
the friends I have
are always here,
whispering things
in my ear,
telling me that
it's okay,
or that it's not,
and what to say.
Sometimes it's okay,
but sometimes we fight,
that couldn't be MY mind,
right?
They've made me cry,
they've made me hurt,
they've left bloodstains on my shirt.
my head can't do that,
could it?
medication doesn't make them go away,
should it?
Is this bad?
Am I okay?
I'm schizophrenic,
so they say.

I watched the movie A Beautiful Mind a while ago, and it inspired me to write this. There is so much we don't understand about this horrid mental illness, it's hard for us to understand what it's like for those who suffer from it. I will never be able to fully understand it myself, but I hope I've given you guys a good idea
