1 year ago today Cantabrians lives changed forever. Not one person living in this city was unaffected by loss; be it lives, livelihoods or the city in general. We morn not only for those who we lost (I miss you both so much!), but for the city we called home and our way of life. But we South Islanders! We are tough and strong, and we can see humour even when there is misery. So please, morn. But also laugh, and embrace the amazing spirit that has emerged from this day 1 year ago.
