ChalkTwins

The Chalk Twins are identical twins who both have a passion for art. They have been drawing since they could hold a crayon. In May 2011, they graduated from Furman University, both with BAs in Studio Art (Devon with concentrations in Painting and Drawing and Lexi in Painting and Graphic Design). Furman gave them a wonderful well rounded liberal arts education and in 2009 they had the opportunity to study with the University of Georgia in Cortona, Italy.

Devon and Lexi started entering chalk art competitions in 2005 and have competed in places throughout the Southeast. Of the fourteen events they have entered they have been awarded Best in Show, Best in Category, first and second place honors in thirteen. Their chalk art projects range anywhere from 4 sq ft to 1000+ sq ft. They use highly pigmented soft pastel chalk that is completely biodegradable. Most outdoor chalk art will last a few hours to a few months depending on the weather.
