Medalin'

Not to be confused with the Colombian city.


While the Games are all said and done, you can at least continue showing off your medals whether it's a week and a half following their conclusion, or years into the future posing with your offspring who ultimately win more medals than yourself.

Anyway, here was a nice and simple last-minute idea I had of all the other far-too complicated ideas I had surrounding the real Games that still took a further week+ to even finish up (these Games, plus other...things, resulted in this short hiatus if you can call it that). If you want my idea for what the medals were from, let's say one was from an individual event and one was part of a relay effort, without abiding too much by (what little there is of) known Equestria Games canon. The type of event should be obvious, but that doesn't mean you can't use your imagination if you want to.

Also what are even backgrounds lol but whatever they are I end up using them as an excuse to slap on a signature and indirectly discourage the typical vector reuse even with the obvious inspiration and replication of another art style *shrug* I also needed something on here for August shh

Done with a mix of seven-ish reference images, old assets, and several minutes of repeated exports (dem Gaussian blurs tho). Clothes are always fun to vector onto ponies of course.
