Dr. Caballeron

First in the series of a four-piece set that I worked on in preparation (and procrastination) for BronyCon 2015 to be printed and signed by Michael Dobson, who voices this pony in MLP:FiM Season 4, Episode 4 (Daring Don't).

That shirt was somehow tedious, worthwhile, and fun at the same time.  His unique head shape was limited in reference material though, and it's not like I'd just use the regular stallion one that has both eyes visible without looking directly at you head-on.

Background was a simple choice based on his eye color after a bit of shuffling through random colors, and then I thought the ring would make a nice add-on to it.

Was thinking of doing blur filter shading, but considering the unique physiques and designs of the four ponies I'd planned to do at the time I made this, I thought it'd take up too much time and trial and error.  That said, it wouldn't have mattered anyway, since those types of effects on Inkscape don't translate well onto the printed version (had a proof made), so effects like the glow around the ring are absent on the document I sent for printing, even if they are present here.
