Just uploading a few old stereograms as I felt it was missing in my gallery :)

Un fortunately the clouds moved a bit between the shots...

Tools: D70, airplane, SPM, Photoshop

Note:
This is a cross-eyed stereogram (for free-viewing).

What stereogram?

What IS A stereogram? Is that what you are wondering?

It is simply an image that appears 3D because there are two images taken from two slightly different positions (one for each eye).
It's the same effect as when you see Avatar 3D or any other 3D movie at the cinema (if you have done so).

To view it you need to cross your eyes (so it is all out of focus) and you see double = 4 images. Now slowly uncross your eyes until the middle two images overlap so you have only 3. Hold your eyes in that position until the middle image comes into focus.
Note: this takes a bit of practice. Search around for more tricks if you are having trouble.

I wish every picture could be like this.

it's still a great stereo - i can imagine it must have been difficult, but you did a great job

I love clouds! Very nice shots. There's a powerful thermal happening in the center... it's amazing how fast the moving parts actually change. It's so smooth that if you sit and watch you could swear it was just a slow drift, but try consecutive shots like this in an airplane, and the velocity of change is evident. Thanks!

Yeah, I see that that limb of cloud right in the middle must have changed shape a bit between shots, but other than that it looks magnificent.
So much depth and volume to the clouds. They look like whipped cream.
I especially enjoy the little ones at the bottom with that patch of clear sky visible between them.

not bad tho for moving object.! it does look like the far back cloud in the center looks as tho it's going through the bigger clouds on the sides!
