Nice try, Ai!!! I'm not gonna lie, when I found out that DA was allowing submissions created by image generators I was pretty fucking pissed (to say the least). I was even more frustrated about having to scroll through 50 examples of ai bullshit for every 1 handmade piece. Thankfully, my smooth ADHD brain remembered I could adjust my search settings to filter out Ai generated "art." And yet, I still come across one picture after another of obvious untagged Ai trash pretending to be original. Honestly, I wish the "artists" doing this would stop. They're not slick. Everybody under like, 70, knows their work is fake AF. And they're embarrassing themselves (and everyone who sees it) by trying to pass it off as original art. Side Note- I'm not saying all ai "art" is trash. Some of it looks kind of cool. I just want Ai creators to admit that they're not the ones doing the heavy lifting. I'm not anti image generator. Why do users who I've never interacted with keep giving me llamas? It's been an almost everyday thing for over a month. What's even more confusing is that it's users who haven't fav'd any of my stories or my art. Naturally, I assume they're supporting me because they're fellow skunk enthusiasts. As the skunk hoarder I am, of course I always check their galleries for skunks. Now, I don't always find them, but that's not a huge surprise or anything. Not all skunk lovers have done skunk art. What surprises me is when they don't have any skunks in their favorites!!! I do watch a few artists who haven't done any skunk pieces but I'm not talking about getting llamas from them. I'm talking about complete randos. What's the catch?
