Sarah's Journey 2

"Can we stop for a bit?" asked Sarah.

The man stopped, he'd drifted a little ahead of Sarah.

He turned to see Sarah bent over with her hands on her legs.

"Really" he replied with a frown, "It's barely been an hour since we set off"

Raising her head, Sarah shot him a frown.

"No princess, glares ain't gonna work" he stated, "You're not tough enough for that"

Hearing those words, Sarah got up. 'Not tough enough' she thought.

Eager to disprove him. Sarah trudged forward.

The man watched, Sarah could see a brief smug grin flashing in the corner of his mouth as she passed.
