Sarah's Companion 6

Sarah relaxed, the man was right, it made no sense that he'd fight off literal large predators and camps of brigands just to kill her in his home.

She wasn't sure what to say.

The man sighed, "you can go if you want" he said, letting go of her wrists, she could hear an almost sadness in his voice. "There's a sword in the chest by where you were getting changed, and the nearest town is a couple days walk up the river from here".

Sarah leant forward.

Taking him by surprise, she leapt at him and wrapped her arms around him. Holding him tight in the only way she could figure to show her forgiveness and express her gratitude.

"I'm not going anywhere yet" Sarah said as she leant her head on his chest.

"I'm sorry" he said as he returned the embrace.
