Congrats Marthig!! All beautiful renditions of the knife/sword :D Sorry I didn't get time to enter, Tango...been so unbelievably busy the last couple of months, I sometimes wonder when I get to come up for air! :giggle: I couldn't have done any better than ANY of these though, so I'm glad to see there were some awesome entries :D

Sadly, not as many as I'd have liked, of course, but some of them were quite beautiful!

OMG !! Thank you so much Tango, I am glad you used that points chart, as it is quite easy to see who get the more points and why.
I am doubly happy in this case because I got the higher score and the 6 mo sub
What I still don't know/understand is what do you mean by those "runnels", I couldn't find any clear definition in all the dictionaries I checked.
I am very happy also because this is my first 100% digital drawing and of a weapon of any kind.
Congratulations to ~Evulangel01 and *kaze-fox :trophy: and also to the rest of the participants.

Yup - I thought a points-score was the best way to do it, rather than just 'I liked this one best'!

runnel - definition of runnel by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus ...

A narrow channel or course, as for water. [Middle English rynel, from Old English, from rinnan, to run.

In this instance, the runnels, or channels, aid blood in draining from the sword.

Thank you for clarifying about the use of those "runnels" I imagined that that might be the reason but the descriptions in the dictionaries only dealt with the narrow water courses :(
