this is for those of you concerned about this as i was, ill try to make this short and sweet! much thanks to @starryfeline for helping me with this DeviantArt is now starting a program that uses all of our art for use in generating AI art. you are automatically opted in. there are currently 2 ways i know of that you need to do to opt out. the first thing is to opt out of 3rd party use of your artwork to generate AI art. to do this, go into your user settings and check this box then youll want to access their google form to opt out any online usernames you may have from being used by their DreamUp program to generate AI art in your art style. i dont consider this the end of the issue, but it is a step in the right direction. its still unclear to me if everything posted here is being used to help DreamUp generate ai art, or if that was part of the opt-out in user settings. either way, its an incredibly shady move to opt everyone in in the first place, as those who no
