I'm in a spiritual communion with my land's water. As the greatest treasure on this gorgeous island, responsible for its shape and design in every way, we can't but celebrate it in any way available to us. I have chosen photography less than water has prompted me to bring the camera to it and it's been a growing passion ever since, overpowering almost everything else in my life by the strength and depth of its appeal. As the lens view fills with ever shifting images of the aqueous element, I feel beckoned and spoken to in inaudible tongues. As I capture the instant, one out of hundreds of thousands of billions that have passed uninterruptedly since the first drop's flow, I feel entrusted into an elemental domain that is sacred and subtle, yet ever alive with a consciousness and spirit of its own.
