so people like to celebrate pageveiw numbers
for a while now i thought it would be fun to post something for 1,111
by happenstance i just finished this piece and came back from working on it, checked out deviant art and lo and behold 1111 pageviews

so this would have been submitted anyway but if you like those celebratory things then yea happy 1111

under woodworking because this is the print of a woodcut
it required two separate plates (should have been four, one for each color but i did some fancy inking of the block)

beaureguard is my fish at home
he is a beta and looks nothing like this
rather looks like one of my mum's koi

He looks so sad! Definitely lost. I'm very much liking your woodcuts.

I hope you made a wish for 1111.

thank you for the liking, i will soon be starting etching in the class, so we will see how that goes

i did a test print where i over inked in black and his eye makes beau look even more depressed

and beaureguard is indeed a wish fish

I'm looking forward to seeing the etchings. I had a great-uncle or something who did etchings and we have all these old ones sitting around our basement collecting dust. They're really cool, we just don't have anything to do with them. I don't even understand the process there are so many parts to it! But I like looking at them. *smile*
