This is Mai a Black North American wolf, again one year old and the Alpha female for the Juvenile pack.
Although the wolves look tame they are still very much wild animals, the whole walk was dominated by them and where they wanted to go we HAD to go

Nice portrait. We went on a walk with them last weekend. Wonderful isn't it. I'm really hoping we can go again next year sometime. Mai was feeling very shy this time but Mosi and Torak were leading the way, bless them. 
hmm she was quite shy on our walk too at first, she got a bit more into it as we went along though hehe. Its a wonderful experience. I think its quite hard to top

That is pretty much the way of it. They allow you to accompany them; not the other way around. It also helps if you remember their idea of proper etiquette.
Indeed. I loved that walk.. it was amazing to be so close to the wolves. And their social etiquette is giving some of the most sophisticated peoples a run for their money if you ask me. hehe. Truely though an inspiring day.
