it's been a minute.
i really havent been up to much since my last journal, except that i'm finally out of school, which means more time to improve on my photography skillz. :)
i finally have time to get to know my camera better, and i'm saving up money for photoshop.
i'll be going to Pennsylvania and New York in about three weeks, so you can garuntee there will be alot of newness on this here deviant of mine.
anyway, that's all that's been going on in my life. i know...it's exciting.

i just kinda felt like updating.
anyway, so this is my first time being on here in like, 3 days. i got grounded for staying on the computer too late. hahaha, oh the wonderful life of being 16. i feel much older than i am, but when i get GROUNDED it makes me feel like a kid.
i'm also getting a little bored with my camera. i want to start experimenting with different types of lenses and i'm looking to buy a macro lens and hopefully a fish-eye one in the near future. that has to be epxensive. :( and i am so broke right now, to the point where it's almost sad.

I should introduce myself.
My name is Sarah and ce beau monde means "this beautiful world" in french.
Because I think the world is beautiful, and I like to capture this beauty in the form of photographs.
I'm relatively new to this whole photography thing, so forgive me if my work doesn't live up to your expectations. I'm a far cry better than what I used to be. :)
I shoot with a Nikon D40x, which I've named Bella.
In the future, I plan on buying many different cameras, just to be flexible. I'm currently looking for film for my polaroid camera, and then I'll upgrade to actual film.
