It's time for the first, OFFICIAL SUMMONS COMIC ART CONTEST! I've been wanting to do one of these for a while, since the release and publication of my comic book, SUMMONS

So, I'm sure you're wondering...

WHAT IS "SUMMONS" ABOUT?

There is an ancient text that is said to contain all of the world's mystic secrets. It is a book of dark and light magic, a book older than the Bible. It is the "Book of Summons". And the forces of darkness have just gotten their claws on it. Now, with the earth's mystic stability imbalanced, it will take a trio of unlikely heroes (a strange teenage girl, an ageless wizard, and a detective with a dark secret) to retrieve the book and restore peace. But can they do it before they're consumed by the very evil they're fighting against?

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

To enter, all you have to do is Draw/Paint/Sculpt/Animate etc. your FAVORITE Character (or Characters) from SUMMONS! The entries will be judged by myself and a few awesome artists here on DA.

The sky's the limit as far what you want to do (i.e. sketch card, pin-up, sequential art, versus, group shot, animations, etc. In regards to animation, the best looking still frame will be chosen to represent your piece in my book).

Plenty of references are available in my SUMMONS GALLERY or the SUMMONS FACEBOOK PAGE. Use your imagination. Creativity goes a long way .

Note, message, or email me a link to your image, please keep it PG-13ish. If you post your piece anywhere, give a link back to this journal entry about the CONTEST: c-dubbkitari5.deviantart.com, and only ONE entry per contestant.

Collaborations are allowed, HOWEVER, the members of the Collaboration team cannot then submit more work on their own. They would be considered ONE contestant. Should the collaboration team win, any monetary rewards would have to be split amongst them at their own discretion.

Please note that none of the illustrations you see in my featured galleries are currently included in the contest... all contest entries will have their own folder. And, of course, win or lose, all entries will be posted and remain in that folder.
