A Follow on from here; A Sad Day for Webcomics
Well, it looks like the last ever page of Gene Catlow went up 25th March 2017 (one of his Saturday filter pages, I may add), following its creator's death earlier in March (the last page of his The Secret Gene Catlow went up 2nd March 2017).
Question is now, will it ever carry on again? As seen here; www.furaffinity.net/view/22860… And if so, who'll pick it up? Will it be Catswhisker, Albert's partner, or Richard Katellis, creator of the sister comic Kit & Kay Boodle and the secondary stars of Gene Catlow, Shirlee Mouse & Kat Ellis?

A Job's a Job, right?
I know we've had people complain about being stuck in jobs they don't like but they have to do it, be it due to the conditions of the environment they're working in, the attitude of staff and/or customers, or just the hours/wages the contracts offer and all-in-all how they're being treated, like fellow artists :iconwallaroo: and :iconbigbellybirdy: and YouTuber Victor Tanzig. For me, it's the opposite. I'm trying to get work in places I'm really good at at my mum doesn't want me to have those jobs or work at those places...mainly amusement parks, otherwise known as LEGOland. I believed she didn't want me working there last year, but it seems she doesn't want me working at LLWR full stop. Trouble is nowhere else wanted to take me on on such short notice or offer better career deals, but to her that's not enough. Here's to a New Year of 2023
Well, last year's certainly been a lot of ups and downs. We've celebrated the Platinum Jubilee - then sadly lost our beloved Queen shortly afterwards, though this year we'll be getting a new King. We've had 2 new Prime Ministers in the space of a few weeks. We've had heatwaves, various strikes of transport, emergency & postal services, war in the Ukraine, energy increases & fuel rationing and rises of new diseases, yet we, as a nation, are striving to overcome them. The last couple of months were sad as we lost so many great actors; Bernard Cribbins, Kevin Conroy, Leslie Philips, Robbie Coltrane and Dame Angela Lansbury to name a few. And my family themselves have had a lot of ups and downs too. I've had several short-term jobs throughout the last 6 months, and all because mum didn't want me working at theme parks this year. (Okay, so it was motive, money and new skills for me, but most roles only last 1 year - if you get the Christmas extension, otherwise it ended around Bonfire

Well, I've taken another test, and it's all clear! I'm just glad that's all over now, and though this week was spoiled for both my parents and myself, we're all relieved that we can officially go out again, and not just into the garden...

Would you believe it? After being so careful, for over 2 years - wearing a mask everywhere I go - so many good test results and received the necessary shots, I just tested positive for Covid! >:-( Now, I'm not the only one, my sister tested positive on Sunday (though she'd been sounding rough for a while now) and my dad's just tested positive, so I had to take one after him. Mind you, I had been with my sister over the weekend doing late evening errands with her, yet I tested negative after she tested positive on Sunday. And all this time, I thought I simply had hayfever, as I was more sniffly and sneezy than violently coughing, which was what my sister did. I only hope now that this clears up by Monday as; a) My parents are off to Madeira (if this doesn't clear up, they won't be going till September) and b) I have a few job interview in the pipeline for next week.
