Whilst clearing out our garage yesterday as part of Mum's regime for her month off (again, be glad when she returns to work 1st March), we stumbled across these among the metal shelves where we keep our paints, car care and gardening supplies (most of it jumbled up, some hardly used and some nearly 3-5 decades old).

I saved them from being tossed out into a tip, since I know may people are interested in items like these, either for the packaging or nostalgic purposes.

Though my mum, at the moment, can hardly tell whether something can still be useful to somebody else, so our opinions on what's charity-store worthy and land-fill worthy are quite different. (Even if a book's still held together but lost its spine in her eyes is a chuck-out, whilst I see it as charity-store stock for someone else)

Now, the family's not used name tags since my sister and I were in secondary school, and although the family's got no actual use for them (even with a new delayed edition on the way) I felt that someone else would benefit off them.

These were in mint condition when found, and still might've been if mum hadn't put the tracksuit bottoms they were in into the wash that morning...

Thankfully, the tags are still in good condition and are now safely in a charity shop.
