The Hunter Mould Making

Fibre glass skull and antlers created for the film "The Rules of the Game" The skull was created by moulding a real deer skull with silicon and fibreglass. The antlers where sculpted in wet clay and moulded and cast in the same way as the skull. The mask was then finished off with an airbrush paint job using inks. The completed skull was designed to be worn as a mask so also had added cushioning fabrication on the inside as well as leather straps to secure it to the performers head. One thing I learnt very quickly was it's tricky to walk through a door frame wearing this puppy!!
