Imdir's Lore:
Imdir’s creation may have been accidental, but she was by far the most important God that Arwii created .With her silent guidance, air and wind blew across the young world; pushing rains to where they were needed most and helping to spread plants far and wide by blowing their seeds across the world.

And when Arwii created the first Prehistorians, Imdir gave her gift of life to them and found delight in watching them grow and thrive in numbers. They enjoyed her breeze and the birds she made took to the air like fish to water.

Imdir wasn’t an emotional being. She knew how to be happy and sad but rarely did she ever show her emotions. Not because she did not know how to, but because she saw no need to express her emotions physically. To her, there are more practical ways to show happiness and sadness rather than smiling or crying. So it’s a rare sight indeed to see Imdir smile or scowl, and her visible emotions always held sway over the winds she commanded with grace.

When the populace of the Prehistorians began to get too much for the world to sustain, it was with a heavy heart that Imdir brought disease to the world; using her own wind to spread it far and wide to reach every corner of Prehistoria. She wanted only to test the reliance of the now-mortal creatures… And with each passing mortal, she withdrew a little more into herself; her rare smiles becoming almost exotic in rarity. Only Hathar, her beloved, became privy to those times where she was open and true to her emotions, laughing and smiling in response to his gentle nature.

Imdir was never a fan of K’Malou; her timid birds told her many things about K’Malou that no one else could. They took to the air when he wandered too close and avoided the areas he had passed by until years had passed. She could not say for sure why this was, nor could she tell anyone about this. Hathar, as gentle as he was, always believed there was kindness in everyone. And as K’Malou was Arwii’s brother, Imdir felt that he wouldn’t believe her or take her words of warning to heart.

But even when K’Malou’s true colours were shown, Imdir never said ‘I told you so’. Instead, she was angry and it echoed in her harsh winds. As the first to realise that there was something wrong with K’Malou, Imdir regretted not speaking up about her concerns and began to blame herself for the misdeeds that happened during his stay. If she had said something, perhaps all of this would have been avoided.

But the more Imdir thought about this, the more blame she put on herself, the angrier she grew, her once gentle winds became violent. Avalanches were more frequent in the mountains and trees were ripped from the ground by the strong currents of the wind. Even the ocean became a threat to the mainland as her winds created towering tsunamis that devastated the coastlines.

Worried that she would cause the destruction of Prehistoria, Imdir said her final goodbyes to Hathar with a promise to return once she was calm and took to the skies as a myriad of birds.

Personality:
Calm and gentle like the breeze but when angered, Imdir is a force to be reckoned with. Soft-spoken but will raise her voice to be heard when needed.

Imdir isn’t reactionary and makes sure to think things through before she acts. She also prefers to think with her head more than her heart; because of this, she can often be mistaken for an emotionless God when this is far from reality.

She rarely smiles in any situation so when someone does see her smile it is always seen as a good thing; like a good omen or rainfall after a drought. At the same time, it is also rare to see Imdir show any expression of anger. Though you can always feel when she is angry even when her face doesn’t betray any emotion… And even the Gods themselves can feel fear when Imdir is visibly angry.

Imdir is always seen with birds perched on her or flying around her. And even when there is no breeze, her fur always appears to be moving slowly like fields of grass as if there was wind billowing through her fur.
