RotG The Four Seasons Head Cannons: Black Rose

I did some little doodles for one of the pairings for my own head cannons for the "Rise of the Guardians: The Four Seasons" universe, which is supposed to take place after the movie. This is known as "Black Rose" (Pitch x May).  

Anyway if you guys saw and read this journal I made a while ago: RotG Head Cannon Plot Stories , May being the kind little spring spirit that she is, is the one who makes the message more clear for Pitch.

After the Guardians enter his lair and seeing him injured and demanding that he should help them (that's what Manny told them, since fear is supposed to keep people safe), May is the first to step up and makes the message more clear to him.

At first, Pitch thought she was "only a mere flower child who's nothing but clumsy, simple minded and clueless". Sometimes May would still let her own curiosity get the better of her, and Pitch would always be the one to catch her when no one else is near earshot, much to his annoyance. And she would make an easy target to scare because of her sensitivity.

But after a while, despite his despondent nature towards her, she would always treat him with kindness no matter what negative things he says and does to her. And he can't help but feel warm inside and warming up to that strawberry blonde haired girl as well. It's like he's never felt this way before, let alone let someone treat him with kindness, everyone no one bothered to treat him with for years until now.

One day later (after some constant, non stop advice from Noel), while he and May are alone together, he admits his true feelings for her and that no one such as her would treat him with such sweet and kind words and actions. May also tells him that she had feelings for him ever since she first laid eyes on him. And so ever since then, they have become a couple.

Pitch soon treats her with his own gentle side in return (something he thought he always lacked), and will be there for her whenever she's distressed, bawling her eyes out, recently have had a bad dream (sometimes his Nightmares would get loose), or showing her fear of heights.

Their relationship is loosely based on the Hades and Persephone relationship from Greek mythology, since Pitch's the dark and brooding king of an underworld of his own while May is the innocent and adventurous female spring spirit who deeply cares for Earth and nature.

And in their free time, they would spend time together, talk, and even (obviously) cuddle and kiss.   


Anyway, the first doodle I made of them together is May looking up shyly at Pitch while he looks back at her with a somewhat annoyed/blank expression.

The 2nd doodle shows Pitch touching May's face and turning it so she can face him while she blushes a deep rosy red and both of the two spirit's eyes are half open while they stare at each other without blinking even once.

And then doodle number 3 (continuation of the 2nd doodle) shows Pitch and May sharing a deep and passionate kiss, their eyes now both closed and May still blushing.
