Chinese Lantern

A friend of mine showed me a picture with a dried up Chinese Lantern. She wondered if I could do that in wire knit (as usual done with a crochet hook).
This is my third version (the first two were in silver tone wire and smaller than this one) based on this picture from Wikipedia [link]
I'm pretty much obsessed with getting this right and this won't be my last one. The "fruit" is a red agate bead. It's about 4 cm not counting the stem, a bit bulky for a pendant, but I think it would make a nice decoration. Time will show.
