Corvus was going about his day as he had all winter starting with scavenging for food. Digging through the snow for withered grass or wet dead leaves that had been uncovered.
He had taken to avoiding the busier areas since he had seen a herd wandering by a few days ago. He hoped they would move on soon, his favorite berry bush was hidden in the clearing they were residing in.
“Hello,” Castor said looking at the new foal.
Corvus backed up a few steps in surprise from the younger foal nearly bumped into another foal.
Pollux who was a lot slower to come out of the underbrush had stood behind the long eared foal who nearly bumped into them. “Hello,” they chirped.
Corvus jumped and nearly kicked out when another foal appeared, his ears flattened preparing for the teasing.
“Wooo, your ears are so cool,” Castor said, rearing onto his hind legs and landing his front hooves to try to get a better look at the other foal’s ears.
