Harkhebi knew perfectly well that Asher didn't have the information he wanted. He didn't even want to know Asher's name. So when the team finally got through his defenses, Harkhebi threw Asher at Ixem and laughed them out of his fortress.

It wasn't about intel. It was about sending a message.

Understandably, Asher was not happy to see Harkhebi again in the new timeline.

Also I didn't realize until afterwards that without context, the red dots just look like Asher picked up a vicious case of chicken pox in prison. They're actually from the injection torture, which is basically getting stabbed with a lot of syringes and microbots that screw their way under the victim's skin. Took a while for his team to dig them all out.
