Pixel art and real-life dolls belong in the "Dolling" folder.
Fan fiction belongs in the "Fan Fiction" folder.

The "Featured" folder is reserved for contests and various other activities we hold.
If your art overlaps in two areas, put it in the main area.
There is a limit of five deviations per day, but try to keep quality over quantity - don't submit for the sake of submitting.
Submissions that are rough sketches, very unfinished works, on lined paper, have little effort (coloring and/or lines), are not cropped or cleaned up in properly (e.g. the image is hard to see; the BG is messy and uncleaned; you can see the edges and rings of the sketchpad), are extremely disproportionate, will be rejected. Put all of your heart into your piece! ♥
Don't submit your deviation more then once.
No tracing or copying allowed; keep it original.
Mature content is welcome on the lower end of the spectrum, but keep it work safe. If you are unsure, please note us.
No flaming, keep the environment happy!
Anyone can suggest a favorite, but make sure it's in the proper category.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
“You’re a freak. You don’t deserve to live.”
I woke up gasping. Another nightmare. Every time I closed my eyes, they reminded me. Through them, I relived every night of torture, every lash, cut and punch. It felt real. It always did.
I wished I was dead.
Life as a prisoner of Macavity was never destined to be carefree and luxurious. But ever since Macavity found out about my magic, my life as a prisoner of his had been a living hell. Every day, he'd torture me endlessly in hopes of getting me to give up my magic and transfer it to him. But I never gave it up.
Day and night, he’d pull me out of my cell and beat me. He’d inflict amounts of pain I didn't even think were possible. And it just kept on coming.
You know, eventually, I don’t think he wanted my magic anymore.
I think he just wanted to break me.
Eventually, I managed to escape. I ran. I ran as far away as I possibly could.
The Jellicles found me. They tried to
Lazy MorningsShe lay on her back, eyes closed against the harsh moonlight.
He hovered above her, suspended on his elbows so his weight didn’t crush her.
The moonlight cast a beautiful glow over his mate, a lazy sort of peace washing over the two of them. She sighed, eyelids heavy as she gazed up at him, squinting slightly.
“I love you…” he murmured quietly, dipping his head to capture her lips gently. They kissed slowly. They had all the time in the world.
A low purr rumbled from her chest, “I love you too….”
He leant on one arm, the other tracing patterns down her arm. Her eyes slipped shut again and she let out a soft laugh.
“You’re beautiful,” she murmured, lips barely moving. Her body felt so heavy and she was so relaxed.
“You’re more beautiful…” he countered, and she laughed quietly, hands winding around his neck and pulling him down. She didn’t mind the weight – it was comforting, having his solid
Not All ThereThey couldn’t see what she could see.
They never had been able to.
Victoria was alone, but also never alone.
Mistoffelees was there.
“Sister…” he purred, his pretty white head cocked to the side, staring at her.
She tilted her head to acknowledge him, but nothing more. It was too strange for the rest of the tribe. She had learnt that early on.
“Sister… want to play a game?”
He was so real. In the beginning she wondered if it was an elaborate prank. Munkustrap had told her that her brother was dead, his face so still and serious, and all she could do was laugh.
Because he wasn’t dead – he was standing right beside her. Surprised. Baffled. As interested in the news as she was.
And then she wondered if he had actually made himself invisible.
The toms had taken her to see his body and she cried, with Mistoffelees both in front of her, dead, and beside her, consoling her.
“A game?” she whispered, lips barely m
