"How....?" Arcelia looked upon the snowy pasture, where two horses strolled peacefully along the fence line. Problem 1: there was only supposed to be one in this particular paddock. Problem 2: One was her prized mare Rocinante. The other was their newest stallion, a Koumai called Cordis. Problem 3: Rocinante was supposed to breed next week after the last show of the year.....to another stallion.  And Rocinante was a fantastic mother. She always took on the first try. Seemed like the mare had decided to kick off the new year by getting herself knocked up by the newest cassanova in town.

Note to self, She thought to herself as she went to retrieve a halter, Build taller fence.

This foal will not be calico colored like her father because it is a recessive gene.
