Villain

The counterpart to my "Hero" artwork which has been stuck in my mind for years as well. Finally decided to put it on paper. Hope you like it!

I really wanted to emphasize the journey of a character and contrast the two pieces together to create a sort of cycle as without a villain there can't be a hero in the traditional sense.

Probably my final submission on this account. As stated on my previous piece that is closely tied to this one, I will now be moving on to post over at zealsprince! See you there!

This one was entirely painted in Krita with no external resources or textures used for a change. Wanted to give this a very focused illustration aesthetic with the punchy red tone and sharp lines to really contrast it to the counter piece which is more soft and flowing in nature.
