Lumos was in his element. After all the training he received at Rockyfall and the competition experience he was almost floating through his routine. It was a fairly simple one. He had to stand still, walk, trot and even run for a short distance. While standing still he had the most time to pose and he made sure to use that time properly. He would throw his head in the air, widening his nostrils and closing his eyes. He would also flick his tail around to get the attention of every bystander he could see. The judged sat at the end of the arena while Lumos and Leona would walk around. Normally Caithlyn would lead Lumos in his competitions since she is his trainer, but she got a bad stomach ack and couldn't join the competition.
We were glad Lumos always would put his best hoof forward, since this was a memorial show after all. The stable was filled with purple flowers and next to the arena were small flower pots with the number 53 on it. Of course Lumos had to wear the flowers to! Leona first put a lot of effort in making a flower band with the bellflower. It was absolutely beautiful and Lumos was also looking fabulous in it. But sadly, Lumos his body didn't react well to the flower. His nose started to drip and his eyes became puffy. Luckily Leona noticed it very fast and had to get rid of the flower band. Leona tried to find other flowers who she liked just as much as the bellflowers and eventually found a flower with a really long name: Aster novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard'. It was a small purple flower that could easily be braided. So after the training Leona worked hard on the new flower band and finished it the same day. This time she didn't put it directly on Lumos. She let him smell the flowers first. If there was even a small sign of an allergic reaction the search for the perfect purple flower would continue. Lumos didn't seem to mind and his body didn't give any reaction to the flowers. So Leona put the entire flower band over his head and took a look at it. It almost fit him like a glove and she loved the contrast between the flowers and Lumos his coat. She took the flower band to a safe place and after that walked Lumos back to his stable. It was late and he had to sleep well for the big day. Leona got a little less sleep since she also remembered that there were suppose to be purple flowers in the halter! So she took the left over flowers and braided them together. After they were braided they were easy to apply to the halter. It was almost midnight and it was time to go to bed. She put on her pyjama's, put the phone in the charger and clicked off the light. It was a big day tomorrow after all. The day of the competition.

Also, that color brings out Lumos' coat really nicely!
I wish you the best of luck in the show <3
