I've been researching the meaning of names of the BLiNX cast and I want to fucking throw my laptop into the sun for some of them. Here's one example:

Jimmy's name means 'supplanter', someone who takes over or takes the place of someone else.

Jimmy replaces Catherine in BLiNX 2.

You think you're fucking clever Artoon?

What ever possessed you to do that?

Damn, though, BLiNX 2 might have some serious stealth jokes going on.  Two blinks, and now Jimmy.  Hidden genius all over.

Me researching name meanings or wanting to obliterate my laptop? lol I'll assume you meant the former cause the latter was an expression. I usually need to search up info and photos for specific characters for the Blinx website which led to name meanings.

Another one that riles me up is Cino. Beside it being a short form Italian name, CINO also stands for 'chief innovation officer', the person in an organisation responsible for innovation and technological advancement. Real nice Artoon.

I'm sure almost every name is a pun or related to their character. I should write a full journal on this.

I certainly wouldn't mind it.  I wouldn't expect Artoon to be deliberate about the names of characters or anything like that, but it's interesting, coincidental or otherwise.  It's a peculiar way of getting more out of the games.

Now I almost want to interpret "Cino" as a position instead of a name, but the cut dialogue would refute that, not that I took it seriously anyways.
