What is something you'd like to see more Blinx fanart of? Like drawings or a certain character, stamps, animations etc.

You haven't drawn the Guard Sweepers (Both the regular one in the blue clothes and the orange clothed one with the shield) before.

Either the BLiNX 2 protagonists or the green hat guy.  They both need some attention, really.

It's funny how the green hat guy is the one who scolds/yells at Blinx to listen to orders in both games like ffs blinx can you just listen for once?

I get the feeling he was just done with things not doing what he says by the time we saw him in the scene with the mother computer in BLiNX 2.  Honestly, though, what bothers me the most is that I have no idea what to call him, because "green hat guy" doesn't feel sufficiently official for my recordkeeping purposes.

Appears in both games. No official name. ;w;

I'd like to bring up something from the first cutscene. The green hat guy (bleh, horrible with no name) says "Back up team. Assemble. Follow Blinx. Get information on the Big Crystal from all worlds. Move." Then Pelon, Picaro and NecoJi run off and Chron remains stationary.

Not sure what he means by "back up team". Maybe's he's calling nearby time sweepers to assist Blinx. But finding information while the Time Factory is under attack isn't very practical.

Then the next cutscene when Blinx runs past them doesn't make chronological sense.

They're all in a vicious time loop.

I've been kind of curious about the "backup team" idea, too.  It always seemed to me like each member of the team was actually a team leader of their own, too, so it seemed really out of the ordinary.  I haven't gotten to writing out my thoughts for it yet (bunch of other things to write down first before I start speculating), but I kind of assumed that there was basically something of a "best of the best" team comprised of the best team leaders, which would be dispatched separate from the rest of their individual teams in a situation like this one.  Chron's the kid, though, so it makes sense that he wouldn't be on the team.

I do admit that I'm rather curious just how bloody long green hat thought they could stall, given what he said.  Stalling long enough for a team of four to do recon across basically every world in the universe.

You also see two different Pelons in two consecutive shots (the one with Blinx running in the door between a very disturbed Pelon and a cat with almost uncannily large and strange proportions), so I'm taking a little interpretive liberty with the continuity of the scenes with a bunch of sweepers.  Easier to not try to explain all the lookalikes and apparent teleportation.

Had an idea for green hat a while back, though.  His job in the first game doesn't really seem to be that of a sweeper, given where he is and how he talks to Blinx, and he still seems different in the second game, given that he still has a different uniform and people listen to him as if he has some kind of authority, not to mention his "maintenance" of the mother computer.  I'll ignore the apparent drop in his voice (it's comically difficult to imagine the same character having both of those voices between the two games), but it's kind of hard to say the same about him suddenly having a sweeper in the opening of the second game.  My guess is that he used to be a sweeper, ended up on some other position prior to BLiNX 1, and pulled out his old TS-16000 when the Tom Toms showed up in BLiNX 2.  This guy actually feels kind of important, which makes the lack of a name all the more awkward.

(late reply is late wowza)

Well, there's four of them in total (Blinx, Picaro, NecoJi and Pelon) so they could form their own little team. I could do some fun things with that idea.

Also, Blinx had started for the portal room so when Green Hat told them to follow wouldn't that mean to the portal room and not in separate directions finding information? He could have meant to follow Blinx's lead but the wording feels odd to me.

Besides the very short time they had, how would Picaro, Pelon and NecoJi find information? The Mother Computer was down so it might have some implications on quickly accessing information.

That cat with the abnormal proportions is very interesting. Needs a new model just for him so I wonder if he has more significance than just a background character. A lot of the time sweepers are clones of the main four (Blinx has no clones) so the disturbed cat could just be a clone but the developers forgot to change them.

I'll probably just call him "Green Hat" from now on, unless some evidence of his true name magically showed up. His uniform is similar to that of a guard sweeper and a mechanic you can see in concept art so I'm open to the idea that he's not a regular time sweeper.

They seem like the sweeper dream team, so it's pretty fun to imagine, especially since it'd be actual named characters interacting with each other on a notable level.  That happens something like once in BLiNX 2.

Yeah, you might be right about multiple sweepers doing recon together in the Ruins of Time.  Speaking of which, we never even learn what the hell that is.  What could they possibly learn from a single world about the time flow suddenly stopping?  Must be something really special about that world, maybe somehow playing some part in the time production process even before the factory does.  Or it might just be another place like Destiny Ruins that might have some prophecy they missed that could explain the sudden loss of time flow, I suppose.  It seems like not knowing what that place is is a bit of an obstacle, and there's also the confusing part of the coordinates being "zero" with there also being world A000, and then the factory that was created with the universe and thus probably occupies an early slot in the coordinate system, assuming it doesn't have a totally unique coordinate.  Not much info to go off of.

Guessing Pelon should just be interpreted as a clone, yeah.  For some reason, I'm thinking it's rather interesting that there's a cat that we actually see get incredibly stressed out when everything's going to hell instead of just fighting like everyone else.  Big cat doesn't appear in any concept art, so I kind of doubt he was supposed to be an additional character, but I may be wrong.  Oh well, I suppose.

I'm pretty convinced he's not a normal sweeper from what we see of him, since he's shown with some authority, but there's just so little to work with.

I feel the sweeper dream team would be the kind of team where everyone has a strength that makes up for everyone's else weakness. No idea what they are but it's fun to think about.

Speaking of the coordinate system in Blinx 2, there probably is some system that denotes where a world is. The letter A for "A-000" differentiates it from the Ruins of Time so perhaps the letter means something significant, like an area or the time it was formed.

I am suddenly reminded of learning permutations and combinations in maths when thinking about B1Q64's name.

WISH WE COULD TURN BACK TIME
