how does one get a turquoise hat at the TF? by catgirl140 how does one get a turquoise hat at the TF? by catgirl140
About time I draw this guy again. The serious and somewhat aloof one. Will send this to Ohshima to see if this guy has a name because referring him as "Green Hat" isn't the best thing.

Starts off with a regular jacket but ends up with an oversized hoodie. Huh.

Also, throwback to my "Burger King" video that starred this guy. Back then my art style was more boxy and stiff and my lines were thinner. The lines in this drawing also happen to be thinner than what I usually do.

For some reason I felt it was appropriate I put my name at the bottom, probably just to fill some white space. It was either that or using the random ass maple leaf brush.

I've actually thought to myself that I'd like to draw this guy at some point.  Though I admit that my theory on him wearing his sweeper rotated 180º on his back kind of adds to it, since I want to show that off.  At the same time, though, he wears his little transceiver on his left wrist like everyone else (one usually wears such things on their off hand), but maybe wearing them on the left wrist is just standard and southpaws have to deal with it.  Haven't totally decided on that in my head.

I've grown to imagine that he has some kind of supervision or maintenance related task, hence the hat that the other sweepers don't have (though NecoJi's hat seems to imply Sweepers can wear them, unless his is special).  It explains him being where he was in the first game's opening and "fixing" the mother computer in the sequel.  As for why he has a sweeper, I just imagine that he used to be a Sweeper himself (a decent or long-running one at that, given that he has a TS-16000).  He probably just pulled the thing out in the second game for the sake of defending the Time Factory.  As for why he still has his sweeper in the ending, he might've been going on missions like the rest (factory probably needed all the manpower it could manage) or he just might've never had time to put his sweeper away between the opening and ending.  Lots of possibilities with this guy, which is part of why I want a name for him.

Oh, and why the hoodie?

His hat is similar to the Guard Sweepers but its very likely he has no link with them, having a time sweeper and not wearing blue.

I'm intrigued by his colour scheme. His main colour is turquoise (which isn't a colour in customisation which make it even stranger in Blinx 2) but he also has brown pants, or red. I thought it was red but it isn't as bright as Blinx's.

I find that if I go into a drawing without much thought, like this one, the final product ends up different from what I expected but I still roll with it. :P

I'd certainly call his pants red (all Sweepers in the first game had red pants, so he has to in BLiNX 2 to make the design consistent, even if it's a different shade), but the abnormal colour is interesting.  I'm unsure if it's all that notable, though, since Picaro also wears a particular shade you can't acquire (as I lamented in my first person playthrough).  Interesting guy, in any case.

"Gary" sounds kinda fitting for him, I admit, but the Sweeper names are usually more exotic.  I'm thinking I'll just forgo any attempts to name him.
